FLANDERS FIELDS
A short film about an obsessed pursuit in the fields of Flanders
> Synopsis
Because of a bad car manoevre, a young woman is jolted out of her daily routine on her way to work. It all starts as a little teasing, but it ends up as an obsessed pursuit in Flanders fields.
> The film
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
The title of the film refers to the famous poem 'In Flanders Fields' (1915) by John McCrae (1872-1918)
The guns of WWI have gone, but if you are a carefull listener you can still hear the larks sing above the roaring of the motorways in the fields of Flanders.
